Overview

All our team building programmes are tailor made to suit your company’s particular needs. We can design a day to suit you around indoor & outdoor activities, group sizes, venue style and location, budget and resource.

Our courses can be anything from a single day, up to 5 days on our full corporate development course. All our corporate packages are designed to encourage personal development, with a specific focus on the dynamics of successful teamwork in the outdoors.

Looking for the ultimate team building challenge for your business?

Our Black Mountain Adventure Challenge Day can be run either as a fun day where you compete against the clock and each other, or as a team event, where a debrief is carried out at the end of each task.

Designed here at BMA HQ, we have developed a range of tasks that teams have to work their way through. Our Black Mountain Adventure Challenge Day can take the form of team building or groups can pit themselves head-to-head in competitions, testing both brain and brawn.

A TYPICAL CHALLENGE DAY begins with delegates being divided into small teams; after a safety brief and an explanation of the rules by the course marshals, the first challenge of the day begins. The teams then have three hours to complete as many of the tasks as possible! The Challenge Day can also be combined with another activity to make a full day of it and offer the ultimate team challenge.

This event requires physical and mental co-operation among groups of individuals in order to solve a task. Among the primary values are group cohesion, trust, communication and problem-solving skills that result from working together to find a solution. Following each attempt, the group is given an opportunity to discuss, process and analyse their experiences to learn for the future.

Here at Black Mountain Adventure, we have a great range of activities that will help you and your staff have some much-deserved time out and fun, whilst still encouraging great team work & effective communication.

We have a wide range of adventure and team building activities to offer. You can join us for either a half day (2-3 hours) or a full day (5-6 hours) of activities. For a good balance of both adventure & team building, why not try one of our Mix ‘N’ Match Days, where you can choose up to 2 activities to do over the course of one day.

For example, the High Level Ropes Course & Raft Building is a great combo of both land and water activities that use different skills & abilities.

We work with a variety of accommodation providers in the local area allowing us to offer you the ideal corporate team building break that will suit your budget!

Accommodation providers range from budget bunk-style rooms to 4* Hotels, providing you with a comfortable stay and a hot cooked breakfast before setting off on your team activity day or conference.
