Explore the world beneath your feet with one of our cave exploration days in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales. Our cave adventure days take place in the Southern part of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales which, not only is riddled with caverns, pot holes and passages, it is also the biggest cave entrance in South Wales and the largest cave passage in the United Kingdom.

For your cave adventure you will be equipped with a helmet, head lamp and protective over-suit and your cave leader will guide you into the cave system where, you will explore the beauty of the subterranean world formed over three millions years ago! Your cave guide will introduce you to many of the sporting features, with great names like: the worm hole, death edge, the rat trap and many more. Suitable for both kids and adults, our caving days here at Black Mountain Activities are ideal for beginners and are a great way to spend the day or even just a few hours with family & friends.

Half Day cave sessions are approx 2 hours and give you a highlight of the experience.

Full Day cave sessions are approx 4-5 hours.
