HILL WALKING & MOUNTAINEERING
Explore the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains National Park in South Wales, with one of our guided hill walking & mountaineering days.
The national park has four mountain ranges to explore, with rolling hills and rugged terrain, providing us with a fantastic variety of walking routes to choose from as well as allowing flexibility to tailor each mountain walking session to suit most ages and abilities. We offer guided hill & mountain walks, map reading and navigation training, all using the natural terrain of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains including the highest peak in South Wales, Pen-y-Fan, standing at 886m above sea level.
Our experienced mountain guides are very knowledgeable about the area and it’s wildlife and you are almost certain to see something of interest, possibly even the majestic Red Kite, the largest bird of prey in Wales. All just a stone’s throw away outdoor adventure centre, easily reachable from Brecon, Hereford, Abergavenny & Cardiff.
The range of the Black Mountains offers the rolling hills of Hay Bluff, Lords Hereford Knob & the Twmpa.
If you’re looking for something more adventurous then why not explore Waterfall Country with our Gorge Adventure Days.
