ROCK CLIMBING & ABSEILING
The perfect way to spend a day in the great Welsh outdoors!
Rock Climbing & Abseiling takes place on a naturally formed rock face and is a fantastic activity for both kids and adults. Here in the Brecon Beacons, we are spoilt for choice with such a wide range of exciting and challenging climbing routes on our doorstep, allowing us the flexibility to tailor our climbing sessions to suit you. Our Rock Climbing & Abseiling days are designed as a Taster Day and are ideal for beginners with little or no experience, who just want to have a go.
Looking to improve your climbing skills? Get in touch about a Climber Improver Days 01497 847897.
Rock Climbing & Abseiling go hand in hand, so once you have confidently mastered the art of rock climbing, your instructor will round off the experience day with an introduction to Abseiling. This time you will start at the top of the crag and you will descend vertically down the rock face, back down to the bottom. Your instructor will ease you slowly into your first Abseil but with more and more practice, you will soon be abseiling down in two or three big bounds! Want a challenge? try it forward facing!
PLEASE NOTE
The Climbing venue is approx. a 30-40 minute drive from our activity centre. We do aim to provide transport for all our customers however, this is a complimentary service which cannot be guaranteed and you may be asked to follow in your own vehicles.
Our ‘real rock’ climbing sessions are a full day only. Half day climbing sessions can be arranged on our outdoor climbing wall.
