Stand up Paddleboarding Courses

The water sport that is taking this past year by storm!

If you fancy trying something new and exciting then Stand Up Paddleboarding is the activity for you!

This easy and versatile sport offers our customers a fun and exciting way to experience the water. We have courses suitable for a range of ages and abilities, paddleboarding involves standing on a surf-style board whilst using a long paddle to propel yourself through the water.

Introduction to SUP

Session Type:  Beginner
Duration:  3 Hours (arrivals to farewells)
Water Body:  Sheltered Water
Minimum Age: 10 years (accompanied by an adult)

What’s Involved –
Our intro sessions are ideal for those who are new to paddleboarding or for individuals who want to build a little confidence in the sport. Taking place on either the canal or a sheltered area of the river (weather dependant), your SUP instructor will give you an intro to the board and during the session you will learn basic skills and develop correct paddling techniques in manoeuvring the paddleboard, how to mount and dismount safely, along with playing a few games to put these newly learned skills to the test.
